Chuckie's Liquidation
Auction Terms & Conditions

Last updated: August 11, 2026

By registering to bid, placing a bid, or purchasing an item through any Chuckie's Liquidation auction, whether online through HiBid or otherwise, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

Please read these terms carefully before placing any bid.

1. ALL SALES ARE FINAL — AS IS, WHERE IS

ALL ITEMS ARE SOLD "AS IS, WHERE IS" AND ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

There are NO RETURNS, NO EXCHANGES, AND NO REFUNDS, except where a refund or other remedy is required by applicable law.

Once you place a bid, your bid is considered a binding commitment to purchase the item if you are the successful bidder. Once an item has been won and invoiced to you, you are obligated to complete the purchase.

BIDDERS PURCHASE AT THEIR OWN RISK.

Chuckie's Liquidation does not guarantee that an item will meet the bidder's expectations, perform as expected, be suitable for a particular purpose, or have any condition, quality, functionality, completeness, authenticity, age, value, or characteristics other than what is specifically stated in the applicable lot description.

By placing a bid, you acknowledge and accept the risk that the item may have defects, damage, wear, missing components, or other conditions that are not visible or specifically identified in the listing.

2. BIDDING IS AT YOUR OWN RISK

All auctions are conducted online through HiBid. There is no in person preview or physical inspection available before bidding.

Bidders are solely responsible for reviewing the photographs, videos, descriptions, and other information provided in the lot listing before placing a bid.

By placing a bid, you confirm that you have reviewed the available information and have made your own decision to purchase the item without a physical inspection.

Because there is no in person inspection:

  • You accept the risk of purchasing an item based solely on the information provided in the online listing.

  • Photographs may not show every defect, scratch, dent, mark, wear item, missing component, or other condition.

  • Photos may not accurately represent the item's actual color, finish, size, condition, or appearance due to lighting, photography, or differences in screens and devices.

  • Items may contain defects or issues that are not visible in photographs.

  • Buyers are responsible for determining whether an item is suitable for their intended use before bidding.

  • Winning bidders may not cancel a purchase, return an item, request an exchange, or request a refund because the item is different from what they expected, unless otherwise required by law.

If you are uncertain about an item's condition, completeness, functionality, authenticity, or suitability, DO NOT BID until you have obtained satisfactory information from Chuckie's Liquidation.

3. ITEM DESCRIPTIONS AND PHOTOGRAPHS

Chuckie's Liquidation makes every reasonable effort to ensure that each lot is accurately photographed, titled, described, and presented. However, errors, omissions, inaccuracies, typographical errors, and discrepancies may occasionally occur despite our efforts.

It is the sole responsibility of the bidder to carefully review the entire lot listing before placing a bid, including the lot title, photographs, videos, description, quantities, measurements, and any other information provided in the listing.

The photographs, title, and written description should be considered together when evaluating a lot.

If there is a discrepancy, inconsistency, or mismatch between any part of the listing that is visible or reasonably discoverable before bidding, the bidder is responsible for identifying and clarifying the discrepancy with Chuckie's Liquidation before placing a bid.

If a bidder identifies, notices, or reasonably should have noticed a discrepancy or inconsistency in a lot listing and nevertheless proceeds to place a bid, the bidder is deemed to have accepted the lot based on the information available at the time of bidding and may not subsequently dispute the purchase based solely on that discrepancy or inconsistency.

If a bidder is uncertain about any information contained in a listing, DO NOT BID until clarification has been obtained from Chuckie's Liquidation.

Chuckie's Liquidation reserves the right to correct, amend, clarify, or withdraw a listing before bidding closes when an error or omission is identified.

Chuckie's Liquidation is not an expert in every category of merchandise sold, including but not limited to antiques, collectibles, electronics, tools, appliances, furniture, vehicles, and other specialty items.

Accordingly:

  • We may not identify every defect, flaw, wear item, damage, missing component, or authenticity issue.

  • Items may be sold in bulk lots, estate lots, liquidation lots, or "as found" condition.

  • Full testing or inspection of every item or component may not be possible.

  • Items may not be tested unless the listing specifically states that they have been tested.

  • Statements regarding age, brand, authenticity, functionality, completeness, condition, or value represent our best available information at the time of listing and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.

  • The absence of a defect, issue, or condition from a description does not mean that the item is free from that defect, issue, or condition.

Unless specifically stated in writing in the applicable lot listing, no warranty, express or implied, is made regarding:

  • Merchantability

  • Fitness for a particular purpose

  • Working or operating condition

  • Completeness

  • Authenticity

  • Age

  • Value

  • Safety

  • Compatibility

  • Durability

4. CONSIGNED GOODS

Many items sold by Chuckie's Liquidation are offered on consignment on behalf of third party owners.

Chuckie's Liquidation may rely on information provided by consignors regarding an item's history, condition, age, authenticity, functionality, or other characteristics and may pass that information along in good faith.

Chuckie's Liquidation is not the manufacturer of consigned merchandise and does not provide a manufacturer's warranty or guarantee.

The same "as is, where is" and final sale conditions apply to consigned goods.

5. PAYMENT

Full payment is due within 1 day of the auction closing or invoice being issued.

Accepted Payment Methods

  • Credit card

  • Debit

  • Cash, where specifically approved or accepted by Chuckie's Liquidation on a situational basis

Cash payment is not automatically available for every purchase and may be accepted only when expressly approved by Chuckie's Liquidation.

Credit Card Surcharge

A 2.4% credit card surcharge will be applied to the total amount paid when a credit card is used as the payment method.

The credit card surcharge is separate from the buyer's premium and applicable taxes.

Example: If the amount payable before the credit card surcharge is $100.00, a 2.4% surcharge of $2.40 will be added, resulting in a total of $102.40 before any other applicable charges or taxes.

A buyer's premium of 18% applies to all winning bids, in addition to applicable taxes, including GST and RST where applicable.

Unpaid invoices remaining outstanding after 3 days may be cancelled. The item may be relisted or otherwise disposed of at Chuckie's Liquidation's discretion, and the bidder may be restricted or prohibited from participating in future auctions.

6. PICKUP

All purchased items must be picked up within 5 business days of the auction closing unless alternative arrangements have been confirmed with Chuckie's Liquidation in advance.

A pickup appointment is required for all winning bidders. Buyers must schedule a pickup appointment through the designated appointment system before arriving at the applicable pickup location.

Walk in pickups are not permitted unless expressly approved by Chuckie's Liquidation in advance.

Buyers are responsible for arriving at their scheduled pickup appointment and ensuring that they have sufficient time, transportation, equipment, tools, dollies, straps, vehicles, and assistance required to remove their purchases.

If a buyer fails to pick up an item within the 5 business day pickup deadline, a storage fee of $5 per item or lot per day will be applied beginning on the day following the pickup deadline.

Storage fees will continue to accrue until the item is picked up or otherwise disposed of in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.

Items not collected within the applicable pickup period may be subject to storage fees and may be considered abandoned.

Abandoned items may be resold or otherwise disposed of at Chuckie's Liquidation's discretion, with no refund owed to the original buyer.

Chuckie's Liquidation reserves the right to determine whether an item is considered abandoned based on the circumstances, the length of time the item remains uncollected, and any communication or arrangements made with the buyer.

Buyers are responsible for providing their own labor, transportation, equipment, tools, dollies, straps, vehicles, and assistance required to remove their purchases.

Chuckie's Liquidation is not obligated to load, dismantle, package, transport, or assist with the removal of large, heavy, fragile, or difficult items, although staff may provide assistance when time, equipment, and availability permit.

7. TRANSFER OF RESPONSIBILITY AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Chuckie's Liquidation's liability relating to an item sold is limited to the amount actually paid for that particular item.

Chuckie's Liquidation shall not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the purchase, possession, use, installation, resale, or condition of an item.

Once an item has been picked up by the buyer, or delivered to the buyer if delivery has been arranged, responsibility for the item transfers to the buyer.

The buyer assumes responsibility for the item's safe handling, transportation, installation, operation, use, resale, and disposal.

Buyers are responsible for determining whether an item complies with applicable safety standards, regulations, licensing requirements, or other legal requirements for their intended use.

8. RIGHT TO REFUSE, WITHDRAW, OR RESOLVE DISPUTES

Chuckie's Liquidation reserves the right to:

  • Refuse registration or bidding privileges to any individual.

  • Withdraw, combine, split, modify, or re lot an item before bidding closes.

  • Resolve bidding disputes, including tie bids, technical errors, or platform related issues, at its discretion.

  • Reopen bidding on a lot where appropriate.

  • Cancel or void a sale where a clear pricing, description, listing, or technical error has occurred.

Where Chuckie's Liquidation cancels a sale due to a verified listing, pricing, or technical error, any payment already made for that cancelled sale will be refunded.

9. ONLINE BIDDING PLATFORM — HiBid

Auctions are conducted through the third party bidding platform HiBid.

Chuckie's Liquidation is not responsible for internet outages, connectivity problems, website errors, delays, software issues, device problems, or other technical malfunctions that may affect a bidder's ability to view, place, modify, or win a bid.

HiBid's own terms and conditions may also apply to bidding conducted through the platform.

10. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Manitoba and applicable federal laws of Canada.

Any dispute arising from or relating to a purchase will be addressed in accordance with applicable Manitoba law.

11. QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU BID

ASK BEFORE YOU BID.

If you have any question about an item's condition, description, completeness, functionality, authenticity, suitability, or these Terms & Conditions, contact Chuckie's Liquidation before placing your bid at:

If you are not comfortable purchasing an item without physically inspecting it, or if you are unwilling to accept the item's condition on an "AS IS, WHERE IS" basis, DO NOT BID.
